The chateau of Vercorin |

This residence, built in 1777 by the Earl Antoine-Pancrace of Courten and his wife Catherine Ballet, half farm, half manor, was used as a summer country house by the Courten family of which the illustrious father was none other than the Lieutenant General of the Courten regiment under the orders of the king of France. In the garden two venerable lime trees, as old as the château, are over two hundred years old. |
