Open Cellars / Chalais
Book the open cellar days in Valais on 26-27-28 May 2022!
On Ascension weekend, from 26 to 28 May 2022, from 11am to 6pm, we will return to the essentials, free from screens, tweets, text messages, emails, the frenzy of everyday life. Bathed in the light of the Valais, surrounded by vineyards and hills, whipped by the air of the lovely month of May... Inhabited by a feeling that will be very similar to happiness. And that is due to such beautiful discoveries. A dizzying kaleidoscope of emotions, sensations, stories and encounters with our winemakers.
Wine tourism
With its 4,825 hectares of vineyards, the Valais is the most important wine-producing region in Switzerland. On slopes generously bathed in sunlight, nearly 60 grape varieties with a strong identity and character are cultivated in a magnificent environment.
This setting gives rise to some very fine wines. Thousands of hours of sunshine enable the Valais to offer a wide range of specialities - fine aromas, intense fruit, rare spices and golden grains - which inspire chefs throughout the country.
You can find the participating wineries here: Caves Participantes Valais.
