It's mating season! Are you looking for an exciting and unusual experience? Discover an unforgettable activity right in the heart of the enchanting Vallon countryside, listening to the roar of the stag.

Wednesdays – Meet at the Tourist Office:
- 23 September – 4.00 pm, return at 8.30 pm
- 30 September – 4.00 pm, return at 8.30 pm
- 7 October – 3.30 pm, return at 9 pm

Saturdays – Meet at the Tourist Office:
- 19 September – 4 pm, return at 8.30 pm
- 26 September – 4 pm, return at 8.30 pm
- 3 Oct – 3.30 pm, return at 8 pm
- 10 Oct – 3.30 pm, return at 8 pm

Program

- Walkers accustomed to mountain trails! 2 hours 15 mins walking time / 350m ascent / 350m descent / 7km
- Listening, observing
- Meal (fondue on the terrace of the La Lé buvette), so don't forget warm clothes.

Equipment to bring :

- Backpack
- Good waterproof hiking shoes
- Warm clothes (down jacket or soft shell), rain jacket
- Hat and gloves
- Headlamp
- Thermos flasks with warm drinks
- Something to nibble
- Walking sticks (recommended)
- Binoculars if you have them

Useful information

- Max 12 people / date
- Ages 12 and over, provided you are a good walker
- In the event of very bad weather, we will contact you by midday the day before to make the necessary arrangements.
- You will be accompanied by Ms Sylvie Peter, a mid-mountain guide. You can contact her on +41(0)79 219 46 72 if you have any questions about the outing or information to pass on to her. We will also provide her with your contact details.
- Please be aware that the hunting season begins in September. Walkers and hunters coexist respectfully, and this has never posed a problem for observing or listening to the animals.
- Wild animals are unpredictable, so it is possible that during this evening you may not see or hear any deer. It’s up to nature!
- The itinerary may be subject to change depending on where the animals can best be observed.
