The 300 Challenge

While some will be aiming to beat the clock, others will be enjoying a good time with family and friends, even if it means stopping for longer or shorter periods to take advantage of the refreshments!

This event is open to skiers, snowboarders and telemarkers. A "little challenge" is organised for children aged 9 to 11 over 150 gates, as well as a fancy dress competition for young and old (because it's even more fun to slalom in fancy dress).
Restaurant owners will be waiting for racers and spectators to eat and enjoy the day in the finish area at Le Creux-du-Lavioz. The evening can also be extended in the many restaurants and bars in the resort.

In 2024, the Défi des 300 will be held for the 9th time!

Over the years, this popular event has built up a reputation for adventure, combining competition, endurance and, above all, conviviality and a good-natured atmosphere. All the participants have the same goal in mind: to take on the Défi des 300!

And what a challenge it is! Starting at Le Crêt-du-Midi and leading to Le Creux-du-Lavioz, in the Vercorin resort, the course comprises over 300 gates (340 gates in 2019), spread over a distance of 3.5 km, with a negative difference in altitude of almost 1,000 metres!

With its extraordinary characteristics, this is the biggest popular slalom in the world.

The fastest participants will need 5.30 minutes to go through the gates, while some, taking advantage of the refreshment points, will take between 2 and 3 hours to complete this unprecedented slalom ;-)

This slalom is nonetheless accessible to everyone! Far from a spirit of rivalry, the main value conveyed by this event is festivity! You only have to look at the participants, year after year, who are bursting with imagination to try and win the prestigious title of Best Slalom Disguise.

Das Besondere an der Challenge des 300 ist, dass den Teilnehmern eine breite Palette an Kategorien angeboten wird. Egal, ob Sie Anfänger oder Experte sind, kommen Sie mit Ski, Snowboard oder sogar mit Telemark: Alle Gleitmittel sind gut, um zu versuchen, die Ziellinie zu überqueren!

Für Kinder zwischen 9 und 11 Jahren wird außerdem eine "Kleine Herausforderung" mit 150 Toren organisiert!

Um Ermüdungserscheinungen zu vermeiden, gibt es zwei Verpflegungsstationen! Die erste am Start des Laufs, um in Form zu kommen, und die zweite in der Mitte des Laufs, um die Batterien wieder aufzuladen. Die After-Run-Party und die Ergebnisübergabe finden im Zielbereich in Creux-du-Lavioz statt!

Kurz gesagt: Sie haben es verstanden! Alle Zutaten sind vorhanden, um einen Tag voller guter Laune mit Freunden, Kollegen oder einfach mit der Familie zu verbringen.
