Easily accessible by the Chalais - Vercorin cable car (you must get off at the intermediate stop), this trail crosses the small hamlet of Briey in a bucolic setting, with a magnificent view over the Rhône plain. Located at the montane level dominated by spruces and Scots pines, this educational walk invites the walker to reflection and meditation through awareness of the five senses. This trail promises beautiful discoveries: it leads the hiker to the charming little Chapelle du Bouillet then, after passing the Briey pond, it follows a section of the Briey water channel and ends by winding through a mosaic of natural and built environments. This five-kilometer loop should be done unhurriedly, to fully enjoy the varied landscapes and the sensations that accompany it!

| Useful information | From the intermediate stop of the cable car, head up towards the main road. Cross it and continue uphill towards the Chapelle du Bouillet. Then continue towards Chippis to Plan du Puits. Keep following the path and reach the Briey bus stop, at the junction for Chippis. From there, follow the path that takes you back to the cable car via the Briey water channel. |
