The accelerating melting of glaciers is revealing more and more remains, including organic remains dating back several millennia.
Glacial archaeology, a discipline recently launched by the Valais Cantonal Archaeology Office, aims to record and analyze these finds before they disappear.
Archaeologist Romain Andenmatten will report on this topical subject.
