The total lunar eclipse on 7 September has a rare feature: it will take place at moonrise in the early evening.
The beauty of the spectacle will be enhanced tenfold by the colours of the sunset and the proximity of a mountain-lined horizon.
The Gîte des Arolles, with its location and beautiful surroundings, will be a privileged site from which to witness this event.
