ÉCHAPPÉES invites you to experience an immersive sound hike in a preserved valley crossed by a river that winds, meanders, cascades, and flows in stages and pools, its sounds reflecting the fragile and powerful nature of life. We will listen to the Rèche river, the marvellous marshes and Lake Louché, which are part of the valley's soundscape. To broaden our auditory perceptions of this babbling world, we will immerse ourselves in listening with the help of hydrophones and parabolic antennas.
We will start the hike at Crêt du Midi and cross a landscape of moors, blueberry bushes, rhododendrons, Swiss stone pines and hazelnut trees, whose cries echo all the way to Ar du Tzan. There, we will discover the wonderful meanders of the Rèche river, then climb up the right bank to La Tine and its marshes with rare plants. We will immerse ourselves in the sound of the incessant movement of water and life: the trickling of water and the rolling of pebbles, the concerto of tiny bubbles or the crash of water against the rocks. Then we will climb up to the Le Louché glacial lake. There, a mineral and aquatic world awaits you, with a rocky glacier overlooking the Louché lake, surrounded by majestic peaks including Maya and Becs de Bosson.
The hike will be guided by mountain guide and sound guide Virginie Thurre.
