De Chalais aux chalets ... en passant par VERCORIN

The historical educational trail "Discovering the old village" takes you through Vercorin and its heritage. Historical facts and anecdotes reveal the secrets of the old village! Vercorin's buildings have a lot to tell...
The route starts and finishes at the Tourist Office. There are 17 observation points marked with numbered plaques. A brochure, available from the Vercorin Tourist Office and the cable car station, links up with the plaques at the various points and buildings of interest.
More detailed information is available by scanning the QR code on the "Welcome" sign at the bottom of Rue Centrale with your smartphone, or on the first page of the brochure.
A guided tour can be organised on request (information available from the Vercorin Tourist Office).

Useful information

Leave the Tourist Office and walk down to the Fontaine des Deux Pauvres, from where you take the Chemin de Tracuit. Then return to the main road and head towards the Mayens car park, taking the path linking it to the Hostellerie d'Orzival. Follow the path to Rue Edouard Vallet and the heart of the village. Then climb up to the church. Return to the Fontaine des deux pauvres to finish the walk.
