This didactic trail, which can be done in both directions, connects the villages of Chalais and Réchy, crossing the village of Réchy and leading hikers to the old coal mines. Along this route of didactic trails "From Chalais to the Chalets," many heritage elements are highlighted, such as the vineyard, old buildings, the castle, and the mills. A 7 km loop allows you to successively take 3 didactic trails to return to the starting point: passing through Chalais, Ricard, and the Farm.
To start, you will leave from the heart of the village of Réchy by taking a road that runs along the right bank of the Réche. Then, you will quickly cross the river to climb along the left bank, up to the picnic area, before turning right. From there, you will walk all along the bank of the Réche accompanied by its furious roar.
OUR ADVICE
Continue along the path beside the noisy river before reaching the old coal mines.
