This educational trail, which can be done in both directions, connects the villages of Chalais and Réchy, before crossing the village of Réchy and leading hikers to the old coal mines. Throughout this route of the educational trails "From Chalais to the Chalets," many heritage elements are highlighted, such as the vineyard, the old buildings, the castle, and the mills. A 7 km loop allows you to successively follow 3 educational trails to return to the starting point: passing through Chalais, through Ricard, and through the Farm.
To start, you will leave from the heart of the village of Réchy, taking a path along the right bank of the Rèche. Then, you will quickly cross the river to climb along the left bank, up to the picnic area, before turning right. From then on, you will stroll all along the bank of the Rèche accompanied by its furious roar.
