The Association Artisanale et Culturelle de Vercorin aims to help maintain activities in the village center through occasional events. It has also opened a creative hobby workshop in the village center, opposite the Hôtel des Mayens. It works with the various village societies and Vercorin Tourisme.
Our craft and cultural activities
Four month-long visual art exhibitions are held each year at the town hall. They showcase artists from a variety of backgrounds.
Les Fenêtres de l'Avent : an Advent calendar in the village with a decorated window and an aperitif offered by its creator each day. Shopkeepers, restaurant owners, and villagers all take part. Friendly gatherings for residents, second home owners, and visitors.
Saint John's Day - June 20, 2026: In collaboration with the Lavioz refreshment bar, this first edition of Saint John's Day will take place outdoors in the afternoon. Entertainment: live music, dance workshop/demonstration, storyteller, face painting, bonfire, wood-fired roast pig.
Garage sale and clothing sale - July 19, 2026: In the middle of the summer holidays, the village streets come alive with stalls selling objects, small furniture, games, and toys. Clothing and accessories complete this second-hand market that brings together all generations. Also open to exhibitors from the surrounding area.
Autumn Festival - October 17, 2026: With its flamboyant colors and mild, sunny weather, October is a busy month filled with holidays. The Autumn Festival takes place in the village center. Giant Brisolée, pumpkin workshop for children, games, crafts and local produce, music and dancing.
Saint Nicholas Day - December 6, 2026: The traditional celebration for children and their parents with Saint Nicholas and Père Fouettard dressed in their finest attire. Crepes and sweets in an atmosphere that heralds Christmas.
Creative leisure workshop
Craft workshops are organized for children aged 4 to 12 once a week on Wednesdays and three times a week during the high season.
Craft workshops for children also take place during certain events such as Saint Nicholas Day, Epiphany, Carnival, Easter, the Désalpe, Halloween, and other occasions. They are offered to children either by the organizing company or by Ascave.
