Hiking and Yoga “Awakening and mountain sounds

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the sounds of the Vallon de Réchy nature reserve thanks to the “awakening & mountain sounds” yoga hike built through a partnership between Virginie d'Échappées (mountain guide and sound enthusiast) and yoga teacher Stéphanie Aulestia. An immersive sensory walk that harmoniously blends listening, yoga, meditation, do-in and mindfulness tastings.

From the Crêt du Midi to the high valley, we invite you to walk and connect with this wonderful nature reserve in the Vallon de Réchy. To the rivers that sing, to the wind that caresses the aroles, to the sounds of speckled nutcrackers and woodpeckers echoing through the valley. You'll be encouraged to walk mindfully, relax and gently awaken your body and mind.

Meditation, yin yoga and do-in session
Yoga teacher Stéphanie Aulestia, an instructor in Mindfulness Meditation and Do-in, will guide the on-site practices.
The morning will begin with a Do-in session (self-massage and gentle stretching) linked to the energy of the day, followed by a guided meditation that invites you to connect with your sensations and open up to the vast horizon of the upper Réchy valley.
In the poetic atmosphere of the meandering Ar du Tzan, she will guide a mindfulness tasting and participants will be invited to compose a haiku (short 3-line poem).
In the afternoon, once we've reached the small lake overlooking the valley at “remointze”, she'll propose a Yin Yoga practice. There, in this enchanting setting and mamotte territory, hikers will be encouraged to stretch the body deeply and open up to the feeling of the present moment and the day. A haiku-reading circle will bring the walk to a close.

Guided hike and listening session
The hike will be guided by Virginie Thurre, mountain guide and sound enthusiast. Just after lunch, she will set up a listening booth with hydrophones to listen to the song of the Rèche river. She will also be listening for orthopterans and birds with a satellite dish.
